Former Clear Channel regional honcho Jim Meltzer has landed in Pittsburgh, where he’s been announced as the new VP/GM of CBS Radio’s Pittsburgh cluster…rock/O&A affiliate WRKZ/93.7 “K-Rock”, hot AC WZPT/100.7 “Star 100.7”, and country WDSY/107.9 “Y108”.
Meltzer left his post as regional VP for Clear Channel’s Northeast Ohio stations, and as market manager of the company’s Cleveland cluster, in November 2005. He was replaced by CC Cincinnati market manager Mike Kenney.
