Morning host Scott Kennedy, 55, of Hermitage, has been entertaining listeners for years on the popular Y-103 morning show, but he resigned abruptly last week from the station.

Tuesday, he pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of possession of child pornography.

The “27 First News” story says Kennedy “admitted he had viewed child pornographic images for two years” when snared by federal agents in chat rooms, and that agents found “238 images and video files” on his computer.

Being off the air is the least of Kennedy’s problems, says the WKBN-TV story:

He could be sentenced up to 10 years in prison and fined up to $250,000. Sentencing is set for August 25.

The story says Kennedy is taking medication for depression, and has previously been under a psychiatrist’s care…
