Ever since Dispatch/RadiOhio sports WBNS/1460 began simulcasting on their sister 97.1 frequency back in January 2009, the longtime OSU and Columbus Blue Jackets flagship station was never able to make it a full-time simulcast. The joys of becoming a new mother were enough to get hot AC WKDD/98.1 morning co-host Krissy Taylor to leave the morning show grind behind. WINW Off The Air
Daytimer gospel WINW/1520 Canton wasn't able to turn on their transmitter at all back on Friday morning, and was off the air for several days thereafter, the victim of copper thievery. The Canton Repository's police blotter noted that at some point between Thursday night and Friday morning, someone broke into their transmitter facility at 4100 Martindale Road, cut several tower cables and stole the copper from the transmitter building.
