WKSU Focuses on Bullying

Starting this Monday, Kent State University’s WKSU/89.7 will examine the tender subject of bullying, which is apropos considering recent news events. WKSU reporter/producer Vivian Goodman presides over "Mean Kids", a six-part series that will air during WKSU’s local segments on NPR’s Morning Edition. Ohio SPJ honors WNEO/WEAO “Final Edition” documentary

A 2009 documentary about the Akron Beacon Journal and it's founding family has won very high accolades for public TV outlet Western Reserve PBS (WNEO/45 Alliance-WEAO/49 Akron). WKBN’s New Evening Anchor

New Vision CBS affiliate WKBN/27 Youngstown has found a new co-anchor for Dave Sess on their 6:00PM and 11:00PM broadcasts, after Whitney Ward left the station last month to be closer to family in her native Washington (joining KEPR-TV Pasco in the process). UPDATE 11:42 AM 7/22/10: OMW has confirmed that former Clear Channel talk WTAM/1100 producer Ryan Gohmann is returning to WTAM, after a stint as morning producer/assistant program director at sister talk station WFLA/970 Tampa FL. We also hear Gohmann will indeed be assigned to the Mike Trivisonno show, though his exact role on the show will be determined later.
