The newest voice on Media-Com Akron market talker WNIR/100.1 is not a regular denizen of Broadcast Park.The voice is none other than ABC TV "World News Tonight" anchor Charlie Gibson, who is officially following a tradition started by his predecessor, the late Peter Jennings. It's been rumored for a while, but it's now official - CBS Radio/XM syndicated morning team Opie & Anthony are coming back to their second Ohio market.And like in Cleveland on alt-rock WXRK/92.3, O&A airing on CBS Radio Columbus market rocker WAZU/107.1 "The Big Wazoo" is a return to a former affiliate, and even a return to its former time slot.AllAccess reports that starting Monday, WAZU will pick up the show for a 3-6 PM delayed airing. UPDATE: A Helpful OMW Reader tells us that DLR will also be at Cleveland's House of Blues on August 20th, as a part of his summer concert schedule at what appears to be mainly smaller venues.
